→ Free Weaves

Winning project of the Artes Valientes Festival, organized by the Mayor's Office of Bogotá Colombia, in which we worked with the Nueva Semilla Foundation where children, mothers who are heads of households, and former gang members work on making carpentry processes and weaving pieces for home use as the only means of subsistence.

The idea was to provide them with graphic tools so that they could paint, weave, and create their ideas, from elements abstracted from their environment with something as basic as geometric figures, and in this way, to teach them another type of artistic idea that allow them to expand their way of working.
